About Carolyn Lintinen (M.A. Cand.)
Carolyn is a graduate student completing her Master of Psychotherapy and Spirituality through St. Stephen’s College. Carolyn has always possessed strong desire to help others reach their potential and shed unhelpful beliefs and behaviours. This, combined with her experience supporting neurodivergent children, has led Carolyn to pursue a career in counselling. She is supervised by Gerry Bock, MA, RCC, who has over 30 years of experience.

Counselling Approach & Interests:
Drawing from solution-focused therapy (SFT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centred and psychodynamic theoretical approaches, Carolyn personalizes each session to reflect your unique needs and goals. Her warm, holistic, and solutions-oriented style encourages personal growth, deeper self-awareness, and meaningful change. Carolyn is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.
Experience & Skills:
Before joining Bock, Belisle & Associates as an intern counsellor, Carolyn developed experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a range of challenges, including anxiety, family dynamics, parent–child conflict, neurodivergence, burnout, and difficulties with boundaries.
Carolyn’s skills in active listening and sensitivity to somatic cues allow clients to develop a stronger awareness of their needs, boundaries, and motivations. Her research focus is on the impact of neurodivergence on identity, spirituality, personal relationships, and daily functioning.
Fun Fact:
In Carolyn’s free time, she enjoys creative pursuits like making pottery, drawing, and teaching her dog funny tricks like whispering and sneezing on command. Cooking with her family and friends, spending time on the ocean, and reading are her favourite ways to relax.
