Why this research matters.

Spirituality is a recognized resources for well-being, but little is known about how women with late-diagnosed ADHD construct their spiritual identities.

My Approach

This research will explore how women make sense of their ADHD diagnosis and its influence on their spirituality through self-understanding. By examining the context and meaning of spirituality within a neurodiversity framework, I aim to identify common themes that will add to the phenomenological knowledge currently existing for health care providers and mental health professionals so that they can better understand the profound ways that ADHD shapes identity, meaning, and belonging in women.

What to expect.

  • If selected, a 60-90 minute interview focusing discussion on your experiences with ADHD and spirituality.
